Thomas was baptised on the 16th May 1824 in Hollinwood Oldham Lancashire his father
William Lees Rodes and his mother was Alice Green.
King William 4th toke the thorne on the 26th Jun 1830 on the death of his father King George 4th.
Queen Victoria takes the thorne on the 20th June 1837 on the death of her uncle King William 4th.
I don't know when he moved to London but he Married Caroline Tackley on the
4th December 1864 at St Saviours Southwark in London
they seem to have a son George W RHODES in 1864 but i can't find his birth
Thomas William RHODES is born
25th January 1866 at 5 Stafford Place New Hatcham Surrey
By the time Louisa Caroline was born on
25th July 1870 also at 5 Stafford Place New Hatcham was renamed Peckham
On the 1871 census they had moved to 11 Manor Grove Peckham
Hedley Waterlow was the next Children to join our growing family in the December Quarter of 1872
Mary Ann was next to be born in September quarter 1877
then Alfred Arthur was born on the 14th February 1881 at 39 Hatcham Road Peckham
Alice Maud was born on the 26th October 1886
I didn't find the main Family
Thomas died on the
19th August 1891 in the Camberwell workhouse ( I'm told the workhouses was the only place
in the area with an infirmary )
Caroline lives on for another 34 years.
