John was born in 1825 in New Workley Yorkshire I don't know who his parents were.
King William 4^th takes the throne on the 26^th June 1830 on the death of his brother King George 4^th.
Queen Victoria takes the throne on the 20^th June 1837 on the death of her uncle King Williamm4^th.
During the June Quarter 1850 John Marries Jane Kirkham in Sebly district
During March quarter 1851, Ann, The only child was born
on the 1851 census they are living at 44 Tockwith Yorkshire
In October 1853 the Crimean war breaks
During the December Quarter 1854 Jane dies leaving John to look after Ann
In the february 1856 peace is declared and the Crimean War ends
